With the bundled OfficeCam scanning software, the K48 delivers exceptional results and enhances efficiency when scanning books. Its advanced features include automatically flattening curved pages, erasing fingers from scanned images, repairing damaged document edges, purifying backgrounds, rotating pages based on text orientation, and splitting dual-page spreads into separate image files. Additionally, the embedded OCR feature allows you to convert a batch of scanned images into searchable PDFs or editable Word, Excel, and Text files. It also supports text-to-speech functionality, enabling conversion into MP3 or WAV audio files. The AI reading feature further makes it ideal for language learning and assisting individuals with dyslexia.
